Winkwaves Kenniscafé is an environment for social networking and knowledge sharing in businesses environments, organizations, departments and associations. Winkwaves Kenniscafé (kenniscafé is Dutch for knowledge cafe) has been designed for conversations, with the main ingredients of social interaction in the center:
- people to talk with
- topics to talk about
- and techniques to speak with each other
In the cookbook of the Winkwaves Kenniscafé we tell you more about the ingredients.
Users are able to start groups concerning specific topics and to plan and organize events. They can ask and answer questions, write blogposts, add documents, photographs and videos and archive webpages. Everything added offers a contact opportunity with fellow users. This way a Winkwaves Kenniscafé offers continuously updated access to people with specific knowledge profiles in the organization.
A tailor-made Winkwaves Kenniscafé can be produced for your organization. At this moment we have equipped a.o. D66 (a Dutch democratic political party), Zeelandia, the Dutch Ministry of General Affairs, Allianz, Deloitte, The Red Cross en the media agencies Mediaedge;cia and Mindshare with a Winkwaves Kenniscafé.
(Obviously) Winkwaves’ own intranet is equipped as a knowledge cafe and to a large extent it is publicly accessible. We welcome everybody as a guest in our favourite pub, but if you would want to add “twists", please send us an email with a short motivation.

Winkwaves Kenniscafé offers an online environment which is adjustable to your company's atmosphere and which will be hosted by Winkwaves. Your own kenniscafe can be technically equipped and visually decorated in a few days. Furthermore Winkwaves helps you to draw up a plan to successfully introduce your Winkwaves Kenniscafé. In this plan community management by the hosts of the kenniscafe plays an important role. Winkwaves provides extensive support for community management by means of training, coaching and knowledge sessions.
